Timberline Interactive Partners with Rigden, Inc.,
Developers of Software for Catalogers.
E-commerce Web developer provides seamless integration of online inventory
for catalog customers.
Middlebury, VT – February 28, 2006 – Timberline Interactive, New England's leading Web marketing and development company for Internet retailers, is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic alliance with Colorado-based catalog software developer, Rigden, Inc. The resulting partnership provides catalogers with an easy integration of their back end systems with their online ordering channel.
“Rigden provides a powerful software tool for catalogers to manage their in-house operations, from inventory management, fulfillment and more,” notes Rick Fitzsimmons, president of Timberline Interactive. “With so many catalogers selling their products online now, it made sense that Rigden would want to provide their customers with an easy way to integrate their software with TICommerce, our online shopping cart.”
Rigden's Advanced Catalog Technology (ACT I) is a comprehensive fully integrated software system designed to handle every aspect of a catalog and direct marketing business. The system provides database marketing, financial management, inventory control, list management, order processing, electronic credit card authorization, and more for catalog customers, many of whom now offer their products online at e-commerce Web sites.
“Until now, customers using ACT I had to manually account for online orders in our system,” notes Rigden, Inc. president Jim Jobson. “Now that we have partnered with Timberline and have integrated with their online shopping cart, inventory management between off-line and online systems is seamless.”
Timberline Interactive’s TICommerce is a feature-rich, custom-built shopping cart platform designed for online direct marketers. One of the first ACT I users to take advantage of the sophisticated integration is Serrv International. Timberline designed a custom Web site, www.agreatergift.org, with TICommerce tied to Serrv’s ACT I databases. The site went live fall, 2005.
Timberline Interactive founders Bud Reed and Rick Fitzsimmons will make presentations to Rigden users at its annual user conference this month.
