Timberline Interactive Launches eCommerce Web Site for Sugarbush Farm of Woodstock, Vermont.
Site improves online and offline marketing capabilities.
Middlebury, VT – September 29, 2005 – Timberline Interactive is pleased to announce the launch of its latest eCommerce client Web site, www.sugarbushfarm.com for Sugarbush Farm of Woodstock, Vermont. The site replaces a static site with little commerce capabilities and utilizes Timberline’s TICommerce™ shopping platform.
“We had a site that was very limiting for us,” notes Kerry McNally of Sugarbush Farm. “We only had a few products on it and couldn’t easily add or remove items, which is difficult when working with an every changing product line. Plus, without a shopping cart, we could accept orders from the site, but it wasn’t easy for the user or for us.”
Now the Sugarbush Farm Web site is a fully functional eCommerce site with a large assortment of products and product categories, and the staff at Sugarbush Farm can add and remove items quickly and easily. Order processing is done through the online shopping cart platform, which enables them to more easily fulfill online orders.
The new site launched September 6, 2005. Since the launch, catalog requests have increased and orders have gone up about 20%.
“I’m not a sophisticated computer user and I worried a bit about how difficult it would be to take on a project of this type,” adds McNally. “But, the folks at Timberline made it very easy for me to understand how to build the site out and add product images and descriptions. And, this is such a giant step for us in growing both our online and offline business, I am really thrilled.”

About Sugarbush Farm
Sugarbush Farm is a 550 acre hillside farm located in central Vermont. The Luces are the second, third and fourth generations to live on this land. Jack and Marion Ayres bought the farm in 1945 with a dream to make a go of country living. They were the first folks in Vermont to start packaging cheese in waxed bars so they would travel well without refrigeration. By 1975 the Boston Globe wrote about Sugarbush Farm "At the end of a scenic Vermont road lies a Cheese Lovers paradise."
